Elisa joined Rose LLP as an articling student and was called to the bar in December 2020. She completed the first portion of her articling term at the Calgary Court of Queen’s Bench. Elisa has worked on matters involving occupational health and safety law, bankruptcy and insolvency, contract disputes, and construction litigation.
Prior to completing her law degree at the University of Calgary, Elisa received a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety with honours. During law school, Elisa worked as a tutor, teacher’s assistant, and research assistant in the Faculty of Law. She also placed first in the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition in Toronto, volunteered with ProBono Students Canada and the Indigenous Law Club, and held a position as Chair of the Friends of the Cochrane Public Library Society. In 2018, she worked as a student in the legal department of a major oil and gas company.
