Joree Nelson

Joree focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and construction law. She represents clients across a range of industries, including the construction and energy sectors. She further specializes in construction matters, complex litigation involving contractual disputes, construction deficiencies, delay claims and professional negligence.

Joree acts for owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders in construction projects at all stages of the dispute resolution process.

In her commercial litigation practice, Joree’s experience extends to shareholder disputes, product liability, labour and employment disputes, and fraud.

A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan’s faculty of law with distinction, Joree previously articled and practiced in the litigation department of a Saskatchewan law firm and was called to the bar in May of 2020. During law school, Joree worked at a Saskatchewan law firm and participated in both the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition in Toronto, where she received an award for her individual negotiation performance.
