Marissa Dimmell

Marissa first joined Rose LLP as a summer student in 2022. After completing her articles at Rose LLP, she was called to the bar in September, 2025. She practices in the area of construction law and commercial dispute resolution. She has experience drafting a broad range of construction contracts for owners, contractors and subcontractors alike.  She has been involved in various litigation matters including construction disputes, shareholder disputes, fraud and small claims.

Marissa holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Marissa completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies at the University of Saskatchewan graduating with Great Distinction. During law school, Marissa volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and worked as a law student with the in-house legal team of a leading North American energy company. Before attending law school, she worked as a policy analyst at a western Canadian think-tank.
